Summary:
Provide daily administrative support to oversee the organization and release of work from the ERP to the Warehouse Teams, prepare the required information for routing of orders via customer portals, coordinate pickup with designated carriers, ensure compliance checks are in place for quality shipment prep and documentation, and deliver and report on Acushnet's on time shipment performance as well as chargeback complianceThis will include producing required documentation (labels, reports, etc.
) from the Distribution Center Warehouse Management System, executing daily production waves according to production schedule, accurately requesting routing via Customer websites, administer the system updates into our WMS and ERP, coordinate closely with our customer service teams on order targets/issues/etc.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with customer service and National Accounts Teams to schedule and execute the running of production waves that produce required labels, warehouse tasks, and reports necessary to complete the daily outbound operations plan to meet customer SLAsDistribute documentation to operational departments, customer service, and customers as required.
Review orders requiring customer routing instructionsUtilize WMS reporting tools to retrieve customer order statisticsUtilize customer websites/software to request and receive carrier routing instructionsUpdate Warehouse Management System with routing instructions as required.
Utilize computer software packages (Business Intelligence Reporting) to develop, modify, and produce volume, inventory, and production reportsProduce ad hoc reports from the system upon management request.
Utilize Manhattan Associates software (Labor Management module) to track and report productivity throughout the DCProduce reports used in tracking productivity as requested by managementIssue daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc performance reports by individual, team, area, and facility.
As directed by the Manager of Distribution Operations, make system adjustments necessary to optimize the production of outbound documentationAssist with testing new system settings/configurations, providing detailed feedback on operational impacts of new configurationAssist operations team leads in scheduling product launch or/and pack ahead waves.
Research and resolve system setting errors that prevent the execution of outbound shipping waves, identifying root cause and corrective action for recurring issuesMonitor wave processing progress and coordinate wave execution with operational team leads throughout the workdayCommunicate, track, and report on operational issues that prevent wave fulfillment and monitor progress in order to execute shipping waves upon issue resolution.
Coordinate with customer service teams on order prioritization and exceptions managementExecute special order processing waves as requiredAssist customer service in executing high priority shipments and provide order processing confirmation as required.
Serve as backup to one or more of the following DC non-exempt admin roles:
Inventory Control, Inbound, Wave Planning, Administration, Export.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years in a warehouse production administration role with daily utilization of Warehouse Management System software toolsFamiliarity with Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management for Open Systems preferredPrevious warehouse management system super user experience preferredMust be able to work with daily deadlines and multi-taskAble to adapt to changing requirements while under deadline pressurePrevious experience with Crystal Reports and Labor Management software preferredExpert PC skills (word processing, spreadsheets, internet)Written and oral communication skills necessary to serve in a professional office setting while dealing with internal and external contacts/customers/vendors.
Office environment with continuous PC usageMust be able to communicate effectively using phone/emailMust be able to problem solve independently, meet daily deadlines, and multi-taskEarly/late shift hours flexibility.
