Summary:
The Cultivation Technician assists in all aspects of cultivation operations including cloning, vegetative growth, flowering, transplanting, trellising, pruning, bottoming, toping, shaping, spacing and overall canopy management/ maintenance.
Cultivation technicians will assist in all areas but will eventually be assigned to a designated department.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Ensures daily production schedule and goals set by Cultivation leadership are fulfilled with meticulous care Cares for the cannabis garden observing plant health and conditions including proper watering/ dry backs, substrate Ph, E.
C.
and reports issues that may exist such as environmental issues/nutrient deficiencies etc.
Keeps scrupulously accurate records through MS Excel applying incredible attention to detail in observing and inspecting the plants Assists in the setup, monitoring and maintenance of irrigation systems and environmental controls Performs plant destruction and plant waste destruction in compliance with department standard operating procedures and state and local laws Accountable for accurate tracking and logging of all plants by utilizing the inventory tracking systems.
Proficient to advance in METRC and CCC regulations Maintains a high level of cleanliness of all Cultivation Equipment, Rooms, and areas as well as sanitation practices concerning handling of plants according to Company procedure.

Education and
Experience:
High School diploma or GED required.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong desire to produce a high-quality product.
A passion for cannabis Able to demonstrate sound judgement and problem solving.
Must be 21 years of age or older as required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.
Able to pass all background checks as mandated by Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Proficient in MS Excel and METRC Minimum 1 year of cannabis experience or transferable knowledge Reliable transportation to work.
Working Conditions:
Sitting, standing, and walking motion/movement will be required throughout the shift.
Frequent climbing, crawling, and reaching (including overhead reaching).
Constant movement of hands/fingers and limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
Constantly positions self throughout task at hand.
Frequently ascends/descends a ladder to inspect/maintain plants.
Occasionally operates power hand tools and other cultivation machinery.
Must be able to inspect and detect quality deviations and defects.
Occasional lifting, positioning, or moving items up to 100 pounds.
