Position Objective:
This position is accountable for assuming the responsibility of attendance accountability, staff and student support, and building safety.
A thriving secretary is caring, compassionate, discerning, and expresses strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
1.
Demonstrates attention to duty, detail, and time management; working reliably without close supervision.

Displays problem-solving abilities and distinguishes priorities.
3.
Treats staff, students and parents with respect and displays sensitive and positive communication skills, with tact and discretion.
4.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date student records.
5.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of office practices, procedures and equipment.
6.
Displays diligence in safety for all stakeholders.
7.
Performs all job-related duties as assigned.
8.
Daily Attendance:
verify accuracy, submit dismissals, tardies, and process parent and medical notification via Aspen (Student Information Services)REQUIRED
Qualifications:
1.
Minimum High School Diploma2.
Secretarial/Office administration experienceSocial/Civic Expectations:
Freetown-Lakeville students and staff will:
practice responsible citizenship; respect self and others; accept responsibility; and work cooperatively.
Preferred
Qualifications:
1.
Experience as a secretary in a school setting2.
Knowledge of SIS system, preferably AspenSalary & Terms of Employment:
In accordance with the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District Educators Association contract.
Employment is contingent upon job performance, program needs, and funding.
This is a school year position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
